Happy July 19th! Over the past 197 issues, I have generally searched for obscure national days and holidays occurring on the release day each Friday. Most days, there’s something fun to write about. I don’t really have anything today. But that’s fine because normal days are very needed. Not every day can be a holiday, and that’s fine!

Tattoo Ideas for Funeral Pros
Earlier this week, I went to a tattoo shop to watch some friends get ink. I know that tattoos are a touchy subject in the funeral profession. Some find them undignified, and others love the creativity. I’m not here to touch on that. I’m just stating that since the dawn of time, people have found ways to mark their bodies due to cultures, religions, and the good old-fashioned “I dare you, bro.”
So, here are a few ideas if you want a funeral-themed tattoo.
1) Mortuary School Logo
Being from Ohio, I’ve seen hundreds of OSU tats. I’ve also seen a CCMS logo branded on a funeral director’s calf. Why not?
2) Post Malone’s “Always Tired” Face Tat
People can already tell from the bags under your eyes; might as well spell it out for them.
3) Get a Vendor Logo
Reach out to your rep and see if they’ll offer a discount for you being a living billboard. Who knows … maybe you’ll get a promotion for saving the business a little change.
Trivia
