Cold Hands Embalming Tip of the Week: Position the Head Block Sideways to Cut and Style the Hair

This tip has helped me tremendously when trying to reach hard to reach places behind the crown and the ears.

As an embalmer🧪🧤 🥽I am often called upon to cut the hair of the deceased. Positioning the head block sideways also makes an incredible difference when styling short hairstyles.

👉🏻💀Pro tip: Place a towel under the head and on top of the head block to create a feature of comfort for the deceased. This is great touch when having a cosmetologist come in or if the family will be doing the hair themselves.
