Messenger Honors Top Sales Representatives

Auburn, IN – The Messenger Co. recently honored its top-performing sales representatives with achievement awards during the company’s recent National Sales Meeting held in Clearwater, Florida.

The 2025 President’s Club Award, recognizing the top 10 sales representatives, was presented to Jay Amburgey, Pete Arehart, husband-and-wife team David & Pam Bednar, Jeffrey Burnett, husband-and-wife team Terry & Deborah Cain, Steve Coker, Max Eddings, Dave Kolbe, Sherry Noble and Glenn Vaughn. The Vice President’s Club Award, recognizing those ranking in the top 20, was awarded to Tom Ahlers, Meredith Feminis, Mark Hess, Shannon Hutchins, Christopher Iverson, Brad Johnson, husband-and wife team Bill and Linda Lindley, Gary Marks, Bret Welsh, and Brian Wiglesworth.

Messenger’s highest honor, Sales Representative of the Year, was awarded to Jay Amburgey for his outstanding sales performance in 2025. The award was ceremonially passed from 2024 recipient Bret Welsh, highlighting a proud tradition of excellence and continuity within the organization. Both Welsh and Amburgey join an elite lineage of top-performing sales leaders, including Sales Representative of the Century, Dave Kolbe.

Amburgey has served customers across Southern Indiana and select counties in Ohio and West Virginia for more than 25 years, building a reputation for trust, consistency, and results.

Messenger also presented a Sales Rookie of the Year Award to Ashley Purdion in recognition of the impressive achievements and meaningful strides she made within her territory since joining the team in Arkansas in 2023. Demonstrating a strong commitment to customer relationships and consistent growth, Purdion quickly established herself as a rising leader within the organization. “From day one, Ashley has shown exceptional drive and a natural ability to connect with her customers,” said Kimball Scott, Sales Director of the West Region. “Her dedication to learning the business and delivering results has made an immediate impact and we’re excited to see her continued success in the years ahead.”
