STERLING, Va. (Feb 11, 2025) – Go all-in with the International Cemetery, Cremation, and Funeral Association (ICCFA) and register for The ICCFA Experience, set to take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas from April 30 to May 3, 2025. This year’s event is poised to be a game-changer, redefining how deathcare professionals learn, connect, and grow together.

This year’s Expo Hall will feature “Three Stages: One Experience,” an exciting new format designed to bring education directly to the show floor. With an updated schedule featuring two action-packed expo days, attendees can expect a dynamic lineup of sessions and interactive experiences that eliminate traditional breakout rooms and maximize engagement.

What’s New in 2025?

  1. Education on the Expo Floor: Engaging sessions held across three different stages on critical topics such as offering catering to expand your bottom line, strategies for retaining top talent, serving cremation families in meaningful ways, leveraging AI technology, and more.
  2. Ask the Experts: The ICCFA Hub offers informal Q&A sessions where attendees can interact directly with deathcare leaders about veteran recruitment, grief and aftercare, green burial, ICCFA membership, and more.
  3. An Enhanced Expo Experience: The Expo Hall will be the heart of the Experience, showcasing cutting-edge technology, innovative merchandise, and exclusive first looks at the latest deathcare trends. It will create an environment where inspiration and opportunity collide. Seven more exhibition hours have been added to ensure ample time for conversations that lead to new and profitable partnerships.
  4. Keynote Speaker, Clint Pulver: Employee engagement expert Clint Pulver will share strategies for retaining and inspiring top talent. As founder of The Center for Retention and the “Undercover Millennial,” he has helped major corporations transform workplace culture and leadership. Clint brings the perfect blend of comedy, showmanship, inspiration, and timely messaging to make your event fun, meaningful, and memorable. His DRUM SET experience, a jaw-dropping live drum solo, adds an electrifying energy that inspires audiences and inspires them to act.
  5. Dedicated Lunch Hours for Networking: From 12-2 pm on Thursday and Friday, the center food lounge in the Expo Hall will become the place for attendees and exhibitors to come together for lunch and conversation, giving everyone some much needed time to connect and recharge.
  6. President’s Welcome Reception & Banquet: This year, the President’s Welcome Reception & Banquet will be held at the start of The Experience, giving attendees and exhibitors the perfect opportunity to reconnect and kick off the convention in a dynamic social setting.
    1. Celebration of Remembrance – Honor the memory of loved ones who passed away in 2024 during the Celebration of Remembrance at the President’s Welcome Reception & Banquet on Wednesday, April 30. Please complete the form if you want us to include your loved one in the Celebration of Remembrance. Memorials are due by March 14 at 11:59 PM EDT.
    2. 2025 Lasting Impact Award: Jay D. Dodds – The ICCFA will recognize Jay D. Dodds, chief strategy officer of Park Lawn Corporation and past ICCFA president, with the 2025 Lasting Impact Award for his dedication to growth, innovation, and education in the deathcare profession.
    3. Comedian Cristela Alonzo to Perform – Close out the evening with a performance from Cristela Alonzo, the first Latina to create, produce, and star in her own ABC sitcom, Cristela, and the voice of Cruz Ramirez in Cars 3. A frequent guest host on The View and star of two Netflix specials, Lower Classy and Middle Classy, Cristela brings her signature wit and storytelling to this unforgettable event.
  7. The Newly Named Irwin W. Shipper Legislative Session Reception: This informative luncheon has been renamed to honor the legacy of Irwin W. Shipper, who led the ICCFA Government and Legal Affairs Committee for 25 years. Join us Friday from 4:00–6:00 p.m. for key insights on federal and state policies shaping the deathcare profession, including taxes, OSHA compliance, FTC regulations, and evolving funeral and crematory laws.
