Prepare for Baltimore | FFFW 103

Today is a day that is very near and dear to me. It is the birthday of not one, not two, but three very influential celebrities in my life.

1) Adam Sandler
Let’s all wish Adam a very happy birthday. This dude is a rockstar of comedy and an interesting Wikipedia read.

2) Michael Buble
I have three favorite Christmas albums, and Michael’s is at the top of the list. Also, I was a weird kid in middle school that would listen to “big band pop.” So, Buble is kind of a hero of mine. (Sidenote: only 108 days til Christmas!)

3) Colonel Sanders

I think about KFC more than the average human. I love their food, environment, and marketing. Plus, their famous bowl is one of the best fast-food options out there! I have so much to thank Mr.Sanders for, and I’m gonna get a few chicken strips in his honor today!

A Guide to Baltimore

Next month NFDA is heading to Baltimore for the 2022 convention. Baltimore is a city that most people don’t know a ton about. So, I’m gonna share some fun facts about the Charm City.

1) The largest bowl of applesauce was made in Baltimore.

2) Edgar Allan Poe is a Baltimore native.

3) The Ravens’ name actually comes from the famous Poe Poem.

4) It’s known for Crab Cakes.

5) Michael Phelps, Babe Ruth, and David Hasselhoth are Baltimore natives.

There you go, memorize these fun facts, and you’ll have talking points all throughout the NFDA convention.
