Physicians Mutual Sweets Shows Appreciation to Last Responders
OMAHA, Neb. – As we turn the corner on a harrowing pandemic and look toward a brighter, healthier future, Physicians Mutual is showing appreciation for last responders across the country. Nominations are now open for “Physicians Mutual Sweets,” a chance for funeral homes to receive one of 25 Sugarwish Sweet Shoppes filled with sweet and savory treats for funeral home staff to share and enjoy (each valued at $175).
“The past sixteen months have only elevated how critically important death care professionals are,” said Brice Ballard, vice president of preneed at Physicians Mutual. “As the last responders in the pandemic, they have shown grace, compassion and ingenuity as they served the families in their communities. If anyone is deserving of a treat, even a small gesture of our appreciation, it’s the men and women who tirelessly cared for families during the most difficult times of their lives.”
Funeral homes nationwide can be nominated for a Physicians Mutual Sweets between now and July 9, 2021, by visiting Physicians Mutual Sweets. Individuals can nominate as many funeral homes as they’d like (even their own!), for a chance to be recognized with a Physicians Mutual Sweets package. The nomination process takes less than 60 seconds and is free.
The 25 Physicians Mutual Sweets recipients will be randomly selected on July 10 from the total number of funeral homes nominated. Deliveries of the sweet treats of appreciation will be made in July. Visit Physicians Mutual Sweets to learn more and to nominate a funeral home.
