STERLING, VA (January 9, 2015) – The International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association has partnered with Colma Education to offer attendees of the ICCFA Wide World of Sales Conference access to live streaming video and session recordings free of charge.
ICCFA’s Wide World of Sales Conference, January 14-16 at Bally’s/Paris Hotels & Casinos in Las Vegas, Nevada, is the only conference geared specifically towards salespeople in the funeral service profession. It attracts an annual audience of more than 400 sales counselors and managers from around the world wanting to sharpen their skills in sales, marketing and customer service.
Colma Education is a relatively new company, offering video education and live streaming coverage of educational events in the deathcare profession, some of them offering continuing education credit. This is the first time ICCFA and Colma Education have partnered on a project and it is being used as a test for possible future ventures.
“Colma Education is very pleased to work with the ICCFA to live stream this event. I think this will greatly improve access to the material, for those who are unable to attend.” said Tyler Fraser, CEO of Colma Education.
Robert Treadway, ICCFA director of communications & membership services, hopes the test run at Wide World of Sales will evolve into a long-term collaboration between the two groups.
“ICCFA is always looking for ways to offer its members the information they need to not only survive, but thrive,” he said. “This would be one more avenue to deliver training to members, and in a cost-effective manner.”
