Chptr announced the launch of ChptrOne, a managed, year-round marketing service designed for funeral homes. The program combines campaign strategy, ad production, media buying, distribution, and performance tracking into a single service. The goal is to assist funeral homes in maintaining local visibility so directors can focus on serving client families.

Rehan Choudhry, Founder and CEO of Chptr, stated that while reputation and personal relationships are central to funeral service, families form impressions long before needing a provider. He noted that ChptrOne is designed to strengthen brand recognition, support preneed relationships, and maintain year-round contact with communities.

ChptrOne runs integrated campaigns across cable television, local broadcast TV, radio, streaming audio, streaming TV,and Facebook. Deliverables vary based on the selected package and local market dynamics. Each participating funeral home receives custom creative assets featuring its staff, facility, and community involvement, with new production assets delivered every four weeks. Launch data from Chptr indicates that at least 70 percent of a client’s marketing budget goes directly toward local media placement.

Bob Arrington, Senior Vice President of Funeral Home Services at Chptr, explained that funeral homes have distinct stories to share, but often lack the distribution network required to reach local audiences effectively. He stated that ChptrOne bridges that gap, reducing the administrative burden of advertising management while building a consistent market presence.

Every ChptrOne package includes unlimited televised obituaries for a single location, with extra locations available for $599 per month. Pricing starts at $1,299 per month for the Starter tier, $3,199 per month for Growth, and $7,799 per month for Premium, alongside custom Enterprise packages. Search engine advertising and SEO services can be added to any tier.

The program relies on Chptr’s national televised obituary network, which began distribution in 2024. To date, the company has broadcast nearly 10,000 obituaries across more than 400 funeral homes in 200 local communities, covering all U.S. television markets. Prior to launch, approximately 12 independent firms and consolidators committed to the platform.
