Bed-and-arrest
“Random guy slept here” is not exactly plaque-worthy — and when the bed in which that guy is catching his zzzzs is in a restricted area of Arlington National Cemetery, it’s actually literally a federal offense. In July, authorities found Abraham Gayetaye fast asleep in a bed in Arlington House, the former home of Gen. Robert E. Lee. Upon awakening him, the man physically assaulted and injured the officers. Now he’s facing a slew of charges and will appear in federal court later this month.

A low-budget royal funeral
When Queen Elizabeth died in 2022, her funeral — which, like those of the highest-ranking royals, had been planned out in great detail for decades — cost UK taxpayers over 200 million pounds (about $270 million in US dollars). Recently, sources shared that Prince Andrew, who was stripped of his status thanks to his association with predator Jeffrey Epstein, will still be afforded the privilege of a royal funeral … but it won’t come close to those of his mom’s. In fact, Andrew’s funeral is expected to cost only a paltry $11 million, including security and crowd management.
