Supporting the People Beside Us

Join the Virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting in September

WHEELING, IL— Strong communities are built by good neighbors: people who show up, listen, lend support, and remind us that we do not have to face challenges alone. The same is true within funeral service.

The Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting creates a space where colleagues can gather as good neighbors to one another, offering understanding, perspective, and support rooted in the common ground of our shared experience.

Join us on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT for a welcoming, peer-led conversation.

You are invited to raise any topic that’s on your mind.  Whether you’re navigating a difficult case, coping with personal stress, celebrating a success, or simply looking for connection, there is room to share your experience here.

During this session, participants may:

  • Talk through challenges and victories with trusted peers
  • Listen to and learn from the experiences of others
  • Explore ways to support wellbeing and resilience in daily work
  • Strengthen connections within the profession
  • Experience the value of giving and receiving support

Peer support is built on a simple idea: no one understands the work quite like the people who do it every day. By gathering together, we create a stronger, healthier professional community for everyone.

This gathering is open to all who serve grieving families and communities, regardless of role, experience level, or background.

No registration required. Just mark your calendar, save the Zoom link, and join us for an hour of grounding, connection, and peer support. This virtual funeral professional peer support meeting takes place Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT via Zoom link at cremationassociation.org/peersupport.
