“I’m the Easter Bunny and I’ve Preplanned My Funeral”

The Easter Bunny has officially preplanned his funeral, proving that even timeless symbols of spring can have a dark sense of humor about their own mortality. “Considering my family’s track record with unexpected lawn mower incidents, I figured I’d better get ahead of the game,” the Bunny said, without a hint of irony.

Instead of flowers, mourners are asked to bring carrot seeds, to be scattered in undisclosed locations, continuing the Bunny’s lifelong game of hide and seek. “It’s a way to keep the magic alive, or at least the rabbits in your garden,” he quipped.

The eulogy will be a live comedy roast, because, as the Bunny puts it, “If you can’t laugh at death, who can you laugh at?” It’s expected to be a fine line between tribute and trial, a reflection of a life lived in the balance of joy and jeopardy.

“In the end,” the Bunny concluded, “I just want my family and friends to know that some-bunny loved them, and that bunny was me.”
