Brookfield, Wis. – What do you get when you combine first-rate education, unparalleled networking and one of the world’s top golf events? You get the Ryder Cup Event, hosted by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), September 20-22 in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Meet up with old acquaintances and meet new colleagues during the Tour and Welcome Reception at Krause Funeral Home & Cremation Services on September 20.
On September 21, attendees will take part in a full day of learning at NFDA Headquarters with some of the funeral profession’s top experts. These experts are planning dynamic, engaging education sessions covering advancements in technology, marketing, customer service, and managing finances.

Following a stimulating day of learning, attendees will relax and enjoy a networking reception at the Embassy Suites.
September 22 is the big event! Attendees will board a bus and make their way to Whistling Straits Golf Course near Kohler, Wisconsin, to watch a practice round for the 43rd Ryder Cup Matches. The best golfers from the United States and Europe will showcase their skills on an open, rugged and windswept course set along the stunning shore of Lake Michigan.
At Whistling Straits, attendees will have all-day access to the hospitality tent on the driving range with NFDA-designated tables; access to executive restrooms; shared secure storage area; complimentary wi-fi; all-day coffee, tea, bottled water, soda and lemonade; open bar from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.; breakfast service from 8 a.m.-11 a.m.; lunch service from 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m.; and late-afternoon meal service from 3:30-6:30 p.m. Each registered attendees will receive an NFDA-Ryder Cup hat.
Registration fees for the NFDA Ryder Cup Event are:
- NFDA Member: $799
- Non-member: $929
- Guest: $649 (each guest must be accompanied by a licensed funeral director)
NFDA has secured a limited number of rooms at the Embassy Suites for the exclusive price of $289 plus tax. The deadline to make hotel reservations is August 16.
