Selected Independent Funeral Homes Educational Trust Announces a New NextGen Seminar Opportunity

DEERFIELD, ILL. — Thanks to a generous grant from ASD (Answering Service for Directors), Selected Independent Funeral Homes Educational Trust is offering a unique NextGen Seminar Hosted Participant Opportunity exclusively to members of Selected Independent Funeral Homes.

As part of this, the Trust will allow one Selected member in good standing, under the age of 50, and who has never attended a Selected NextGen Seminar, to attend the 2020 Seminar at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and The Royal Beach Casino, January 26-30, for free. 

Interested Selected members are encouraged to apply by visiting https://smr.to/p62632. Applicants must complete the online application form and submit an essay (500 words max.) describing their interest in and importance of participating in this Seminar, as well as his/her plans for sharing the benefits of attending this event with colleagues, co-workers, and other Selected members.

The winner will be chosen by a special committee of the Selected Educational Trust Board of Trustees, based upon his or her ability to share the benefits of the program to advance the independent funeral service profession among this new generation of leaders. He/she will have meeting registration fees waived and receive lodging—including the Welcome Reception/Dinner—for both the member and one guest, plus a stipend of $500 toward airfare.
