Joe Petersen and Leah Weber Named New Homesteaders Account Executives

West Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders Life Company Senior VP-Strategic Markets Will Bischoff is pleased to announce that Joe Petersen and Leah Weber have joined Homesteaders’ industry-leading team of account executives. Peterson will serve funeral providers in Michigan and Ohio, and Weber will support customers in Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota.

“Joe and Leah bring two decades of institutional knowledge as they join the Homesteaders team,” Bischoff said. “With experience both in funeral homes and as vendors supporting the profession, we are confident they will excel in helping our customers’ design personalized solutions to drive success.”

For the last 14 years, Petersen has worked in the field as a preneed director in funeral homes in Michigan, giving him firsthand knowledge of the needs and challenges Homesteaders customers face. He looks forward to developing strong relationships built on trust and understanding.

“Over the years, Homesteaders has established itself as a leader and foundational partner to a multitude of funeral homes in Michigan,” Petersen said. “Having entrenched myself in the funeral profession for the past 14 years, I know in my heart it is where I belong.”

Weber’s experience in the funeral profession lays in website and software sales for Tribute Technology and Batesville Casket Company. She’s excited about continuing to support funeral professionals to help them grow  their business while traveling her home state and beyond.

“Joining Homesteaders Life Company provides a new challenge within the profession and a chance to build stronger relationships with funeral directors while learning about a different side of deathcare,” Weber said.
