A recent lunch conversation I had with a fellow member of ConnectingDirectors.com prompted me to make this the topic of our Question of The Week.

Having an online presence is a crucial part of a funeral home being able to progress into the future and continue to serve their community. But what is the best way for a funeral home to build their online presence?

Should a funeral home pay thousands of dollars to be listed in an online directory and to use all of the features the company offers for the listing? Or is it better for a funeral home to use the many free resources available like; Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, WordPress, or even Flickr? I see positives in both options.
