I have been posting funny, humorous funeral related images on our Facebook Timeline and even here on the site. These images are not images that you or I would share with consumer clients but they are images that should induce laughter for funeral professionals.
The engagement with these images has been through the roof. One image has been shared over 300 times! But as the images fall infront of some of our readers who are….a little more reserved (being very PC), they have brought about negative comments and even criticism toward ConnectingDirectors.com and myself for posting the images.
So this post serves as a soft message to those who get angry and offended:
I’m sorry you don’t like these humorous images but the collective body of progressive funeral professionals that read this publication (over 16,000 monthly) enjoys being able to engage in humorous material. Why does everything have to be so serious? Sometimes it’s ok to let go and laugh. Don’t take yourself so seriously. Lighten up and enjoy your calling.
