BATESVILLE, Ind. – Batesville is hosting a free Education Series webinar, Staying Relevant in an Evolving Marketplace, on August 28 at 1 p.m. EDT. Offered quarterly, these events have become a popular source of information among funeral professionals. Each webinar includes a 30-minute presentation followed by a live question-and-answer session.

“Maintaining relevance with customers is difficult in any industry – especially during periods of change,” explains Debby Neubauer, vice president of marketing for Batesville. “As customers’ preferences and needs evolve, your business has to adapt right along with them – or you risk being left behind,” she says.

In recent years, there has been a steady parade of once strong and respected brands closing their doors because they simply lost touch with their customers, didn’t recognize the signals in the marketplace, or waited too long to react. At the same time, other businesses that took different actions are continuing to thrive.

Troy Turner, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Batesville, will discuss some of the biggest trends that are changing consumers’ expectations about how they approach funeral planning and carry out end-of-life ceremonies. He will share examples from outside our industry to illustrate how other companies are tapping into the consumer mindset and using this information to stay relevant and deliver value to their customers.

To register for the webinar, go to www.Batesville.com/Webinars.
