Thacker Caskets Celebrates Bob Cullen’s 35 Years of Service
MONROVIA, Maryland — Thacker Caskets is proud to recognize Bob Cullen for 35 years of dedicated service as a sales consultant serving funeral professionals throughout New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, the New York metropolitan area, Long Island, and Westchester County.
Since joining Thacker in 1991, Bob has built a reputation for reliability, hard work, and genuine care for the customers he serves. Over the past three and a half decades, he has become a trusted partner to funeral homes across his territory and a valued member of the Thacker Caskets team.
CJ Thacker, President and CEO, reflects, “My relationship with Bob goes back a decade before his 35 years with Thacker. In the 1980s, Bob was a truck driver for Casket Shells, Inc. (CSI), and I was managing the warehouse — unloading trailers of caskets side by side. I asked Bob to join Thacker in 1991, and it’s been a privilege ever since. He has stood alongside our family as we’ve navigated this industry over the past four decades, and his loyalty has never wavered. Bob truly embodies hard work, reliability, and humility.”
Bob’s impact on Thacker Caskets extends well beyond his years of service. During his career, he has earned the respect of customers and colleagues alike through his industry knowledge, consistency, and strong relationships. He was named Thacker’s Salesperson of the Year in 2010 and was recognized as a member of the President’s Club in 2011. At this year’s annual Sales Meeting, Bob was also honored with a Thacker Caskets Tenure Award.
Reflecting on his career, Bob said, “During my 35-year career with Thacker Caskets, I have had the pleasure of meeting the most dedicated and caring professionals. I have enjoyed being a part of the growth, through three generations of the Thacker family, of the most progressive and innovative business in the funeral industry.
