Kick Off the New Year With a Reset

Join the Virtual Funeral Professionals Peer Support Meeting in January

WHEELING, IL— Start the new year with steadiness and nurturing. The January Peer Support Meeting is a space for funeral professionals to reconnect after the holidays and explore the three RESET pillars: Strong Ground, Nervous System Reset, and Compassionate Presence. Join the conversation on Tuesday, January 20 at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT.

The monthly peer support meeting will talk about how microresets can help ground you between arrangements, how that groundedness supports you in staying present when families are overwhelmed, and how compassionate presence allows you to show up in a way that honors both the families you service and you. Together, these RESET pillars support you in navigating a profession that asks so much of the heart and body.

This meeting is open to anyone who serves their community during its hardest moments—from front office to back room, chapel to gravesite, suited to coveralls, and everyone in between. Apprentices, interns, and students are welcome.

This is a peer support meeting, not a training or webinar. During our hour together, you can expect:

  • a gentle grounding practice to help you arrive
  • a brief introduction to the RESET pillars
  • space to share your experiences—or simply listen
  • supportive conversation with people who understand funeral service
  • a simple microreset you can use in your daily work
