Homesteaders to Sponsor 2021 NFDA International Convention and Expo
West Des Moines, Iowa — Homesteaders Life Company, a national leader in preneed funeral funding, is proud to sponsor the keynote address from globally acclaimed innovation and creativity speaker Duncan Wardle at this year’s National Funeral Director Association International Convention & Expo, October 17-20, in Nashville, TN.
“We’re excited to welcome funeral professionals back to this year’s in-person event. After eighteen months of disruption, we’re happy to partner with the NFDA as their Black Diamond sponsor of Duncan’s keynote,” shared Homesteaders President, CEO and Board Chair Steve Shaffer. “Funeral professionals have shown their innovation and creativity while serving families during the coronavirus pandemic. Duncan’s message on how to ‘Think Different’ when solving challenges encourages all of us to continue to find new ways for helping people design a better farewell – which is what we strive for at Homesteaders. Bringing Duncan to the Convention is just one more way we can give back to the funeral profession through insights to help firms succeed.”
Wardle’s opening keynote will kick off the event at the opening session on Monday, October 18, at 9:45 a.m. As former Head of Innovation at the Walt Disney Company, Wardle has a unique perspective on building a profitable business. He will share case studies from his 25 years with Disney as well as innovation tools and creative behaviors that everyone can use when solving challenges in the marketplace.
