Seitz Funeral Services Joins Foundation Partners Group

Orlando, Fla.Foundation Partners Group, a leading provider of innovative funeral and cemetery experiences and products, today announced the acquisition of Seitz Funeral Services which includes Adamson Life Celebration Home, Northern Colorado Crematory and Best Friends Pet Crematory of Greeley, Colorado, and Viegut Funeral Home in Loveland, Colorado. The acquisition increases the Foundation Partners network to 12 locations along the Front Range from Colorado Springs to Greeley.

“We are excited to welcome Seitz Funeral Services into the Foundation Partners Group family,” said Tom Kominsky, the company’s chief financial officer. “The Seitz family shares our vision of providing families with personalized, meaningful services and their businesses will make wonderful additions to our growing portfolio in Colorado.”

John Seitz began his funeral service career in 2001 after serving as a minister for twenty years; and advanced to manager three years later. In 2007, John and his wife, Lisa, purchased Adamson Memorial Chapels in Greeley and invited their son, Jonathan, to run the business alongside them. They acquired Northern Colorado Crematory and Viegut Funeral Home along the way and have grown the businesses to become market leaders in their individual communities.

When they began looking for a partner that would fit well with their businesses, John Seitz found that Foundation Partners was the obvious choice. “Both our organizations are customer-focused and meet families where they are,” he said.

Foundation Partners’ unique ShareLife® approach to funeral service also aligns well with the Seitz family’s mission to offer families holistic, customized funeral experiences. “As people move away from older, more traditional funeral services they are looking for something that is fresh and relevant,” John Seitz said. “Foundation Partners offers that innovate approach.”

An integral part of their plan was to find a partner that would  value and support their team members. ”We appreciate and value all our team members,” Jonathan Seitz said. “We’re excited for them to have more opportunities and grow within a firm that believes in innovation and changing the status quo of the profession.”
