Homesteaders Offers Free Finding Resilience Holiday Memorial Service Video
West Des Moines, IA– Homesteaders Life Company is offering a free video download to help funeral professionals host virtual holiday memorial services. The video, created by Dr. Jason Troyer, PhD CT, is called “Grieving During the Holidays,” and features a message of comfort for client families as well as practical strategies for coping with grief.
“As funeral professionals know, the holiday season can be especially challenging for those who have recently lost a family member,” said Troyer. “While in-person memorial services may not be possible this year, we wanted to give funeral professionals a way to connect with their community.”
Homesteaders understands the importance of holiday memorial services for funeral professionals. “We know that these events not only give back to the community, but they also increase referral rates and online reviews,” said Holly Cully, Homesteaders Marketing Department Coordinator. “We wanted to make sure funeral homes had a way to easily connect with their community virtually in an effort to keep everyone safe.”
Funeral professionals can download this video for free at homesteaderslife.com/resilience/holiday-video. The content can be used during a virtual event, on social media channels or even posted on a funeral home’s website.
This free download is offered through Homesteaders’ Finding Resilience program to prevent funeral professional career burnout. The program began in 2018 and now includes a weekly email, Facebook community and several free downloads including a journal and a burnout prevention guidebook.
