Cunningham, Parker, & Johnson Funeral Home Joins West Virginia Memorial Group

Charleston, WV – David L. Hernandez Jr., Founder of West Virginia Memorial Group, a leading provider of funeral and cemetery services, has announced the acquisition of Cunningham, Parker, & Johnson Funeral Home in Charleston, West Virginia. The acquisition of the firm expands the Hernandez’s holdings in West Virginia to four locations serving over 800 families.

The funeral home was started in 1929 by Tonya’s grandfather and carried through by her and her husband Brent until his passing in 2008.

With many of the changes in funeral service, my son Evan and I knew it would be best to find a partner that could continue our service excellence and Brent’s vision while bringing in new technologies and innovative services.”
