How independently dependent I am.

As we celebrate Independence Day it occurs to me ironically how dependent we really are in life.

Radio broadcasters are dependent upon listeners and vice versa, writers are dependent upon readers and vice versa. Other than God, give me anything that is not dependent.

Funeral service providers are dependent upon funeral goods suppliers.
Funeral goods suppliers are dependent upon funeral service providers.

My family and I are dependent upon men and women who have given their lives so I can live in this great country and have rights such as voting and practicing my personal faith.

Independence is such a strong word… We love it.
But when I really reflect on my place in this world I am overwhelmingly dependent.
