Bio-Response Solutions to Expand Alkaline Hydrolysis Production
Danville, IN – June 2013 – Bio-Response Solutions, Inc., pioneers in the alkaline hydrolysis method of disposition for the death-care industry, recently announced plans to expand its operations. The company will invest more than $1M to build and equip a 14,500-square-foot facility, creating up to 25 new jobs by 2016.
The expansion is in response to the growing demand from families for alkaline hydrolysis and the increasing number of states approving the process. “We have spent nearly 15 years developing and fine-tuning alkaline hydrolysis, making it a practical, environmentally responsible, safe and cost-effective option for funeral professionals, regardless of the size of their business,” commented Joe Wilson, CEO of the family-owned company. “We are gratified by the response from the funeral industry and the families they serve.”
Bio-Response Solutions’ alkaline hydrolysis system impacts the environment with only one-tenth of the carbon emissions produced by cremation. The company’s commitment to the environment will also be evident at the new facility which will feature heating powered by solar panels. Completion date is set for early next year.
“We are excited to grow this business and to do so in our own backyard of Indiana,” remarked Wilson.
