Have You Ever Had A Pacemaker Explode During Cremation?

As most of you know pacemakers must be removed before cremation. Caleb Wilde pointed this out on the ‘Confessions of a Funeral Director‘ Facebook Page:

FACT: If pacemakers aren’t removed before cremation, they will explode in the crematorium, potentially causing upwards of $10,000 in damage to the lining of the retort.
