Foundation Partners Group Lose Board Member
Foundation Partners Group, LLC, a leading owner and operator of funeral homes and cemeteries in the U.S., has lost it’s first board member from resignation since appointing Brad Rex, an 18-year veteran of the hospitality industry, as president and CEOon November 1st.
We received an email from Bob Horn this weekend announcing his resignation from the Foundation Partners Group board effective immediately. No reason has been given yet to why Bob resigned but he did post this as a LinkedIn status on Saturday:
As of Nov, 30TH I have resigned as a member of the Board of Directors of Foundation Partners Group, a Sterling Partner’s portfolio company.
Bob has served on the Board of Directors with Foundation Partners since August 2010. Beginning his career with a small, family-owned funeral home, Horn’s experience spans 48 years within the death care industry. In the mid-1960s, Horn was the vice president of International Funeral Services (IFS), a pioneer consolidator of funeral homes and cemeteries. He continued in many senior roles with various companies until 1996 when he co-founded Keystone Group Holdings with Price and Shaffer. Horn served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Keystone Group Holdings for 10 years. Bob currently serves as:
