Exclusive: Wilbert Funeral Services Elects New CEO

imageWilbert Funeral Services Inc, held its first boarding meeting Wednesday afternoon since Suhor Industries acquired controlling interest in the company. Joseph U Suhor III was elected to be the new Chairman and CEO and Dennis P. Welzenbach was elected to be the new President of the Company effective immediately. Other current officers are Terry Whitlock, Executive Vice President, Secretary; Michael Bogacki, Executive Vice President, CFO; Judy Rossom, Treasurer, CAO.

Suhor and Welzenbach, working together for the last 24 years, occupy similar positions in Suhor Industries, Inc., who is Wilbert?s largest licensee, based in Overland Park, Kansas, having 35 manufacturing plants and 18 warehouses in 11 states. Beyond their core line of burial vaults, Suhor is also involved in human and pet cremation, first call services, retail and wholesale monuments, cemetery construction for lawn crypts, niches and mausoleum and has extensive precast production throughout their footprint. Their new Signet Supply division distributes imported and domestic caskets and cremation products in 16 states.
