Orlando, FL – Foundation Partners Group (FPG), a leading provider of innovative funeral, cemetery and cremation experiences and products, has announced the acquisition of Summers Funeral Homes. The acquisition of this firm represents FPG’s first locations in the state of Idaho.

“We’re thrilled to add Summers Funeral Homes to our network of world-class funeral homes and to become part of the Foundation Partners family,” stated Bob Bukala, FPG President and CEO. “The Summers Funeral Homes are perfect complements to FPG on many levels, including strengthening our position in the West.”

“Robyn and I look forward to working with the team at Foundation Partners Group to continue enhancing the operations and to ensure the long-term success of both funeral homes and crematory,” said David Yraguen, owner of Summers Funeral Homes. “We’re excited to partner with a successful company like Foundation Partners Group and value the ability of the FPG team to help us better serve the families in greater Boise.”

Summers Funeral Homes had its beginnings more than 100 years ago in 1911 in Boise, when Clyde E. Summers, an early employee of the funeral home, became a partner and the funeral home was renamed Fry and Summers. David Yraguen joined the funeral home in 1977 and several years later bought the firm. A second funeral facility and crematorium was built in nearby Meridian, Idaho in 2001.
