Nov 30, 2015 – EVANSTON, IL – Legacy.com, the Internet’s leader in obituaries and related services, is shining a spotlight on memorial giving this year. Kicking off on Giving Tuesday, December 1st, 2015and extending for the full calendar month, donations made through www.legacy.com/charity will be doubled up to $50,000.

Steve Parrott, President and CEO of Legacy.com shares, “We believe in the good work our charity partners are doing and have had very strong relationships with a wide range of charities around traditional giving from obituaries. This event is an opportunity for us to double up our support for our charity partners as we remember the people who made a difference in our lives.”

Braden Lay-Michaels, Chief External Relations Officer at StoryCorps, adds, “StoryCorps and Legacy.com bring life stories to future generations.
