WALL, N.J.  – Kates-Boylston Publications, the publisher of American Funeral Director and American Cemetery & Cremation Magazines and Funeral Service Insider, has named Patti Martin Bartsche its managing editor.

Patti-Martin-BartscheBartsche joined the Kates-Boylston team almost four years ago and has quickly distinguished herself as someone who chases down stories that resonate with funeral professionals. Before joining Kates-Boylston, Bartsche was a staff writer with the Asbury Park Press, where she won numerous awards, including a first-place award from the New Jersey Press Association for her Growing Up Poor series.

“Patti demonstrates an amazing ability to connect with our readers through her writing and continues to develop meaningful relationships with all our clients,” said Allison Sullivan, publisher of Kates-Boylston Publications. “Her hard work and dedication is instrumental in increasing our reach and trustworthiness within the death-care profession. We are proud to have her as part of the Kates-Boylston family and to recognize her achievements.”
