Death care is making its way into many reality shows – Friday was the premiere of ‘Time of Death‘ on Showtime and who can forget ‘Best Funeral Ever‘ that debuted earlier this year.

Last week was the season premiere of ‘Extreme Cheapskates’. ” The TLC series is back to shine a spotlight on people who share everything and we do mean they share everything! Last weeks episode featured a couple who shared everything from a shower and toothbrush and it showed them shopping for a casket…that they could share.

The thing I noticed was they planned to have the body of the person who died first, buried and then disinterred when the other person died. In some cases this option could be far more expensive than just buying two separate caskets.

“Extreme Cheapskates” continues every Wednesday at 9 p.m. ET on TLC.
