William Bonacorda accepts Presidency of Trust 100

Scott Pontone, Chairman of Trust 100 has announced that William Bonacorda has accepted the position as President of Trust 100.  “Trust 100 is a well respected and established Death-Care Industry institution.  As Trust 100 enters a new era, it is appropriate that we do so under the leadership of an individual with extensive Death-Care Industry experience, and appreciation for the role our company plays in funeral service.  I know Mr. Bonacorda is the right person to lead Trust 100, as he has a firm grasp on the fundamentals of our business,”  says Scott Pontone.

“I am delighted that William has agreed to step up and succeed me as President of Trust 100. He embodies the ‘Client-first’ philosophy that has always been our hallmark, but brings with him a strong set of sales and marketing skills. In his heart, William is a ‘people-builder’.  I am confident we can expect great things from him and, as a direct result, Trust 100.”

Mr. Bonacorda has twenty years of progressive experience in funeral service beginning as an apprentice in 1993, gaining licensure in New Jersey in 1994, and extensive experience in various managerial levels with Service Corp. International through the 1990’s.  William’s career with Trust 100 began in 2000 as a Regional Manager in Illinois, and has progressed through senior management positions culminating in an ownership position in the LLC and the office of President in 2013.

“Trust 100’s services are more important to our funeral home clients today than ever before.  Trust 100 allows independent funeral homes to secure the future of their businesses, while providing the families they serve with the peace of mind knowing difficult funeral decisions have been made in advance. Pre-need represents the best defense against lower priced competition because it allows families to make well informed decisions without the emotional stress that arises at time of need.”

When asked why Trust 100 has been so successful in the past and his objectives for the future, Mr. Bonacorda responded, “Trust 100 has established standards to which others aspire for thirty years.  Our sales counselors typically double the productivity of other pre-need sales people because of the extensive training and on-site counseling they receive from their immediate supervisors and managers.

The close working relationships each counselor has with management results in greater longevity, which translates into more successful client relationships.”

“I accept the role as President with the intent of strengthening the Trust 100 brand, and creating greater market presence.  Trust 100 has a long list of firsts whether it is funeral home advertising coops, specialized insurance policies, or sales centers.  I want to expand our product offerings and create programs that will endure beyond my tenure. The position of President will allow me to develop a perspective for the future of our profession and our company, I can set the groundwork to define the future; and that’s a responsibility I readily accept,” exclaims William.

Mr. Bonacorda will have a high level of visibility as President of Trust 100. He will be participating in national funeral director conventions and working with his field team of managers and Pre-need professionals.
