Kates-Boylston Publications Promotes Two Employees

imageKates-Boylston Publications recently promoted two employees as part of its continuing mission to serve its readers, advertisers and strategic partners.

Allison Sullivan, formerly the company?s art director, takes on the new role of director of advertising and creative services. Sullivan, whose been with the company more than six years, will continue to provide the vision that has allowed American Funeral Director and American Cemetery magazines to consistently win awards for its design. She now also manages the company?s advertising services.

?I look forward to continuing to provide our advertisers with solutions to connect with more death-care professionals, and working with our sales staff here,? Sullivan said. ?In Anthony Kaniuk and Trish Gallotta, we have two people who know what our advertisers need and who have the knowledge to deliver those solutions Gary Pfaff and Chris Savia also help our advertisers through their work with the American Blue Book of Funeral Service.?

Thomas A. Parmalee, formerly the company?s executive editor, takes on the role of editorial director. He joined the company more than four years ago as associate editor with American Funeral Director and American Cemetery magazines before becoming the editor of Funeral Service Insider. Parmalee will continue to serve as editor of Funeral Service Insider, but he now also leads the editorial staff of American Funeral Director and American Cemetery magazines.

?I?ve enjoyed connecting with so many death-care professionals over the years, and I look forward to serving our audience in this expanded role,? Parmalee said. ?Our two other editors, Brian Johnson and Tanya Kenevich, are great to work with, and together, we will continue to provide the hard-hitting content, analysis and news that our readers have come to expect.?

Rounding out the Kates-Boylston team are Ad Traffic Coordinator Angelo Scribellito and Customer Care Manager Christine Kaniuk.
