BROADVIEW, IL, FEBRUARY 5, 2013 – Wilbert Funeral Services, Inc., (WFSI) the leading provider of burial vaults and cremation-related products and services in North America, is pleased to announce the addition of Michael Devaney as Cremation Merchandising Manager.  In his position, Devaney will manage WFSI’s cremation market strategy including product management and marketing and sales strategy.

Devaney brings thirty years of funeral industry experience to WFSI, most recently serving as National Account Manager for American Funeral Supply where he managed national account relationships and marketing initiatives, as well as driving supply chain efficiencies.

Devaney is a licensed funeral director and embalmer with a diverse background including eight years as CEO of Baue Funeral Homes, St. Charles, MO where he provided strategic direction and management of company operations.  During that time, he also developed a leading aftercare operation and served for seven years on the Board of Directors for funeral trade association International Order of the Golden Rule, including a term as president.  Devaney also has worked in training and administrative capacities for various funeral service organizations.

“We are very pleased to have Mike join Wilbert Funeral Services and step into this new position, “said Mark Klingenberger, Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “His funeral industry expertise and perspective in product merchandising and marketing will help Wilbert and its customers grow the cremation segment while better serving families.”
