Danville, Illinois — Trigard, a division of Greenwood Inc. and a trusted name in funeral service, has announced the integration of two state-of-the-art robotic systems into its manufacturing operations. This strategic investment reinforces the company’s commitment to supplying the deathcare industry with products known for exceptional quality and reliability.

The newly implemented robots are equipped with custom end-of-arm tooling and are now fully integrated into the production of polymer liners used in Trigard burial vaults. By automating key stages of the thermoforming process — from loading raw materials and removing finished parts to routing and stacking — the systems improve consistency, strengthen operational performance, and create a safer work environment by reducing manual handling.

This advancement enables Trigard team members to focus on skilled, value-added initiatives that leverage their specialized expertise. While the robots are currently dedicated to burial vault cover and Aegean® outer jacket production, Trigard is actively exploring additional applications.

These ongoing efforts reflect the company’s forward-thinking approach and its dedication to meeting the standards expected by its network of burial vault dealers, their funeral professional clients, and the families they serve.
