There has been tons of buzz about Walmart selling caskets, not only in the funeral industry, but out in the public as well. You know it is big time when someone with a Ukulele writes and sings a song about it on YouTube. I’m not sure if this is funny or scary. The lyrics of the song paint a picture for where the future of Walmart could be headed. Will you eventually be able to spend your whole life at Walmart? Check it out below. The lyrics are below as well. Comments please!!
Here’s Suzanne Nolen singing about a casket sale at Walmart.
“There’s a casket sale at Walmart, why don’t you come on down
Find yourself a deal for when you’re six feet underground
It really doesn’t matter where your mortal frame is stored
So why not save a buck or two when you go to meet your lord”
Lyrics
There’s a casket sale at Walmart, why don’t you come on down
Find yourself a deal for when you’re six feet underground
It really doesn’t matter where your mortal frame is stored
So why not save a buck or two when you go to meet your lord
There’s a casket sale at Walmart, you’ve seen us on TV
You’ve lived life to the fullest, here’s the box you need
Our half-price double-wide special will fit you in the end
Satin, steel, and trailer wheels, won’t you take it for a spin
We’ve got tires and hoses, diapers and TVs
Diamonds, toys, and roses, and ointment for your knees
We’ve got all your groceries, cigarettes, and beer
Once we add a delivery room, you can spend your whole life here
There’s a casket sale at Walmart, why don’t you come on down
Find yourself a deal for when you’re six feet underground
One day you’ll be departed, and slip this earthly vale
Before you go, why don’t you go to the Walmart Casket Sale
