STERLING, VA (January 23, 2017) – Keynoters will focus on defying comparisons, building connections, creating quality customer experiences and taking action this year at the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association’s Annual Convention & Exposition, April 5-8, 2017, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Keynote speakers include:

JOE CALLOWAY, author of Becoming a Category of One, on “How Extraordinary Companies Transcend Commodity and Defy Comparison: How do extraordinary companies and top performing individuals succeed? It’s all about how you think. It is about developing and growing your mindset so that you can create value for your customer. When you create this value, you set yourself apart from the competition and becoming a Category of One.

SETH MATTISON, professional speaker, on “Relationship Revolution: Building Better Connections in the Digital Age”: In this wired, digital world, a physical connection is more powerful than ever. With social media and email becoming the quickest way to reach both potential and established customers, it is important to remember the power of a physical connection. Mattison will explore five key insights that will help you building better, stronger, and more authentic relationships in the digital world.

KELLY McDONALD, author, on “Crafting the Customer Experience for People Not Like You”: A “One-size fits all” experience has companies struggling to set themselves apart from their competitors. McDonald will speak on how you can better craft the customer experience by considering your customers’ racial, ethnic, religious and generational differences. Knowing and understanding these differences will better help you deliver a quality experience for every customer and set yourself apart for the competition.

RORY VADEN, author, on “Taking the Stairs”: Rory Vaden’s motivational session will leave you wanting to conquer your fears and take action. By taking action, you can increase engagement, raise productivity and grow sales. He will give you tips on how to say yes to the things that matter (and no to the things that don’t).

The ICCFA Convention will feature educational breakout sessions covering every aspect of the funeral, cemetery and cremation profession, from how to meet the digital expectations of Millennials to sustainability planning for cemeteries and how to sell cremation in the mobile world. There is also a three-day Expo where you can meet face-to-face with supplier reps and examine the newest and most innovative products and services available. Full program details available now at www.iccfaconvention.com. You may also download the ICCFA app to begin planning your personal Convention schedule. Search “ICCFA” in Apple Store or Google Play to find the app.
