The contest officially kicks-off at the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) convention in Charlotte, NC October 7th. However, this is your opportunity to get a jump start on the contest. If your entry is submitted within the next week you can stop by Passages booth 3437 at NFDA for a free t-shirt (while supplies last).
Passages International was the first to introduce the Scatter Tube concept. The Tubes are designed and engineered to simplify the scattering process. They are durable, dignified and easy to use. Featuring a removable lid and industry-first, perforated “push-in” tab, the tubes are easy for families to open prior to use.
“Because our customers know their families best, we want their input for new Scatter Tube designs. While we already have 11 popular designs, it is time for something new,” says Passages’ President, Darren Crouch. “We look to our customers for more design ideas that will be pleasing to cremation families. Submissions consist of a brief written description along with original photography, stock photography, original artwork or graphic designs uploaded in a PDF format. We look forward to seeing all of the creative ideas,” says Crouch.
One winner will be chosen by a panel of judges from within the funeral profession. The winner will receive a trip to the CANA Cremation Symposium in Las Vegas next February. This trip includes return airfare, two night’s hotel accommodations and registration to the Symposium. The winner will also receive a free case of Scattering Tubes with his or her winning design.
