The Messenger Co. has launched the Natural Onyx Lighted Urn, a memorial product that combines photo personalization with adjustable lighting. The urn is designed for use as a centerpiece during memorial services and as a tribute in the home, providing families with an additional option for honoring a loved one.

“Families aren’t simply choosing an urn – they’re choosing how they want to remember someone,” said Alicia Norman, Director of Product at The Messenger Co. “We wanted to create something that feels deeply personal during the service and continues to hold meaning in the home for years to come.”

Design and Functional Features

The Natural Onyx Lighted Urn incorporates a photograph alongside backlit natural stone to focus the memorial on the individual. The urn is constructed from genuine natural onyx, giving each unit distinct veining.

It includes photo, name, and date personalization, with lighting positioned behind the photograph. The illumination system is battery-operated for flexible placement and includes remote controls for dimming, color settings, timers, and power functions. The urn rests on a solid wood base suited for service displays or home settings.

“We believe the most meaningful memorial products are the ones that immediately make you think about the person – not the product,” said Amy Andrews, Business Development Supervisor at The Messenger Co. “That idea guided the development of the Natural Onyx Lighted Urn from the beginning.”

Availability

The Natural Onyx Lighted Urn is available to funeral professionals through Messenger Stationery. Personalized selection room samples can be ordered through Messenger sales representatives or online at messengerstationery.com.
