Rexford and the Bronx, NY — Manhattan University’s School of Business, a regionally accredited, not-for-profit educational institution, has officially been granted curriculum approval by the New York State Department of Education for its custom Bachelor’s degree management track for funeral directors. The specialized academic pathway was built and developed in close consultation with higher education and industry design firm Vector Dimensions LLC (Vector D).

This milestone state authorization fully greenlights Manhattan University to administer and deliver the custom management curriculum. The online program allows licensed funeral directors, current mortuary science students, and associate degree graduates to seamlessly transition into comprehensive business management roles.

“As a fourth-generation licensed funeral director who has spent years navigating both the  daily operational realities of funeral service and the rigorous standards of higher education  administration, I know exactly what tools professionals need to succeed,” said Brian  Kasler, C.F.S.P., Founder of Vector Dimensions LLC. “By combining Manhattan  University’s prestigious academic infrastructure with Vector D’s targeted curriculum  design, we have created an approved pathway that respects a student’s prior technical  training while building critical leadership and corporate operational skills.”

Expanding Strategic Educational Alliances

In addition to this newly authorized track at Manhattan University, Vector D continues to  expand specialized business and professional options for the funeral industry through its  growing network of regional university partnerships:

• Mercy University Working Agreement: Vector D maintains an active operational  agreement with Mercy University to provide a dedicated Business Management  program (B.S. in Organizational Management) featuring a career-focused track in  Funeral Home Management.

• Iona University Partnership: Vector D has partnered with Iona University to deliver  custom Professional Programming and Continuing Education designed specifically  for active funeral directors and their support staff.

Now Fully Operational at Manhattan University

With official state authorization secured by the university, student enrollment is open  across both core phases of the program:

• Bachelor’s Degree Management Track (Newly Approved): Open to practicing  funeral directors and mortuary science graduates. The university provides detailed  credit-mapping documentation to maximize transfer credits from accredited  associate-level programs.

• Master’s Degree Program (Active Enrollment): Actively enrolling mortuary science  instructors and funeral service professionals who already hold a Bachelor’s degree  and seek career advancement.

Core Program Features & Highlights

• Flexible Online Learning: Delivered entirely online to accommodate the  demanding and non-traditional schedules of active funeral service professionals.

• Expert Academic Faculty: Built and instructed by university professors holding  terminal PhD and Master’s degrees alongside veteran, licensed funeral directors.

• Financial Aid Eligibility: Enrolled students may apply for Title IV educational  financial aid administered directly through Manhattan University.
