image A Gainesville man was arrested in Chiefland for reportedly breaking into a print shop to print pamphlets distributed at an Ocala funeral.

Philip James Henderson, was charged with burglary for the the incident early Friday morning at Davis Printing at 107 N. Young Blvd.

Chiefland Police Chief Robert Douglas said the owners of the print shop determined that someone broke in by using a shovel to pry open a side door. Inside the shop a camera that had been focused on the cash register had been taken down.

The owners also showed investigators evidence that someone had logged on to a computer inside the shop then used a printer….

between 2:24 a.m. and 4:14 a.m. to print 384 color copies of a funeral pamphlet. Investigators noted that the date on the pamphlets were for a funeral being held Friday in Ocala. Police contacted the funeral home listed on the pamphlet and were told Henderson had been supplying pamphlets for the funeral home through his business, Revolution Printing.

Douglas said Henderson was brought in for questioning and gave police a written statement implicating himself. In addition to making and taking the pamphlets, Henderson reportedly admitted to taking an undetermined amount of cash out of the register before leaving through the same door that he had forced open.
