imageFuneral service professionals throughout the Northeast and the rest of the country are already signing up to attend a special conference at Yankee Stadium that features dynamic speakers. Sponsored by Batesville Casket Co. and Forethought Financial Group, experts will share insights on how to improve customer service, increase cremation profitability and create better connections with families using technology.

Funeral Service: A Whole New Ballgame will be held June 11 at Yankee Stadium, beginning at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Participants will spend a day networking and learning from some of the profession?s top experts. Once business is done, you?ll enjoy a ballgame in a luxury suite featuring the world champion New York Yankees battling the Houston Astros. Attend the conference and ballgame for just $299. Subscribers to Funeral Service Insider, American Funeral Director or American Cemetery will pay just $249! This price includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails and the game!

?Funeral service is changing, and this event features some of the nation?s top experts who will teach you how you can use these changes to your advantage as you focus on profitability,? says Anthony Kaniuk, associate publisher at Kates-Boylston Publications. ?We are extremely happy to be partnering with Batesville and Forethought to bring funeral service professionals expert advice at a great price. As a Yankee fan, I?m personally looking forward to watching the game after our business conference!?

Experts you will learn from include:

Keynote Speaker Jim McCann, founder of 1-800 Flowers.com, knows all about how to provide excellent customer service and build business through loyalty programs and creative initiatives. He?ll share his tips on how to win loyal customers in order to win more profits.

Nectar Ramirez, director of sales for Options By Batesville, will speak about how to better understand cremation consumers and ways to help them select the types of products and services that they want. You?ll improve customer satisfaction while also boosting your own profitability.

Troy Brake, general manager of Batesville Interactive, will speak about ?Using Technology to Differentiate Your Funeral Home.? Families are increasingly using the Internet to search for information before selecting a funeral service provider for their loved one. Aside from promotion in their local communities, how can funeral directors set their businesses apart and become the funeral service providers of choice? This session will help funeral professionals understand how to use technology to better connect with families, create new revenue streams and further personalize funeral services.

William Flooks, owner of Beecher Funeral Home in Pleasantville, N.Y., will focus on building and developing relationships with hospices. This type of outreach can really pay dividends for your firm if you go about it the right way.

Dominic Carella, vice president of Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York City, will speak about high profile funeral services. Discover how his firm delivers top-notch service and meaningful ceremonies while handling the media. This session is sure to provide you with many ideas!

Educational sessions will end at 4:45 p.m., at which point you?ll have the opportunity to stroll through Monument Park or visit the Yankee Museum. Cap off the day by networking with your funeral service peers in a luxury suite as you watch the ballgame.

Be sure to visit www.katesboylston.com/ballgame for more information and to register, or call 800-500-4585. Space is limited to the first 150 registrants so do not delay!
