WALL, N.J. – Funeral service professionals throughout the Northeast and the rest of the country are already signing up to attend a special conference at Yankee Stadium that features dynamic speakers. The all-star lineup will share insights on how to improve customer service, boost market share, increase cremation profitability and create better connections with families using technology.

Funeral Service: A Whole New Ballgame will be held Sept. 14 at Yankee Stadium at 10:30 a.m. Participants will spend a day networking and learning from some of the profession’s top experts. Once business is done, you’ll enjoy a ballgame in a luxury suite featuring the New York Yankees battling the Tampa Bay Rays. Attend the conference and ballgame for just $495. This price also includes lunch, dinner, ballgame fare, drinks and the game in a luxury suite!

“Funeral service is changing, and this event features some of the nation’s top experts on how you can use these changes to your advantage as you focus on profitability,” says Anthony Kaniuk, associate publisher at Kates-Boylston Publications. “Not only will attendees get innovative solutions that will help them stand out from the competition, they’ll also have great networking opportunities.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with Homesteaders Life, ASD, Implant Recycling, A Simple Thank You and Foundation Partners Group to bring funeral service professionals expert advice at a great price,’’ Kaniuk added. “As a Yankee fan, I’m personally looking forward to watching the game after our business conference!”

Experts you will learn from include:

Keynote Speaker Mike Michalowicz, chief executive officer of Provendus Group, is the entrepreneur behind three multi-million dollar companies and the author of The Toilet Paper Entrepreneur and The Pumpkin Plan. He is a globally recognized entrepreneurial advocate. Mike is a small business columnist for the Wall Street Journal, and hosts the business makeover segment on MSNBC’s “Your Business.”

Steve Parker Jr., co-founder and managing partner of Levelwing, a data-driven marketing solutions firm and a full-service digital advertising agency, provides businesses with tips and strategies to build relationships on networks such as LinkedIn and Twitter. He helps firms put their social media strategy in context, so it meshes with their overall marketing plan.

Pam Kleese, director of marketing information at Homesteaders Life Co., provides insights from original research from individuals who have prearranged. Learn what prompts someone to prearrange and get ideas to move someone from thinking about prearranging to actually doing it.

Bill W. Forsberg, chief operating officer of the Funeral Home Group for the Lane Family of Companies, provides innovative solutions for transforming operations and driving revenues.

Educational sessions will end at 5 p.m., and participants have the opportunity to stroll through Monument Park or visit the Yankee Museum before returning to a luxury suite to watch the game.

Be sure to visit www.katesboylston.com/ballgame for more information and to register, or call 800-500-4585. Space is limited to the first 100 registrants so do not delay!
