Kevin Montroy, Founder and CEO of FrontRunner Professional, is pleased to announce that the company’s content writer, Kim Stacey, has been awarded a certification in Grief Counseling by the American Institute of Health Care Professionals.

“When I started FrontRunner Professional nearly 20 years ago, it was my intention to develop an extraordinary in-house team of professionals and I’ve never wavered from that intention,” explains Kevin. “Kim’s achievements and skill set provide tremendous value to our clients, and the families and communities they serve.”

“Thanks to the program, I can write grief education materials for distribution by funeral homes, cemeteries, and pet loss providers to inform, educate, and engage readers,” explains Kim. “These educational materials can help individuals move through their bereavement with understanding and purpose.”

In addition to the Grief Counseling certification, Kim holds a Master’s Degree in Anthropology from California State University, East Bay and has spent the past 30 years studying cross-cultural death and bereavement practices. As well, Kim earned a California funeral director’s license four years ago. This diverse background provides a strong foundation of both theoretical and practical understanding that allows her to write with confidence on a wide variety of topics.

“Kim became part of our team in June of 2011 and we are proud to have her as a member of the FrontRunner family,” adds Jason Truesdell, President of FrontRunner Professional. “This new certification adds even more value to our company, our clients, and the profession as a whole.”
