Welcome to Deathcare A.M.A. (Ask Morticians Anything), where you’ll learn all about what regular people (read: non-morticians) are asking the Internet … and how their questions are being answered — accurately, hilariously, or otherwise. Our goal is to give you a different perspective on what your families and communities really want to know, but are too scared to ask.

Yes, there is gross stuff…the not so nice body stuff as explained by a funeral director.

What is the grossest thing I have to deal with as a mortician?

I’m considering being a funeral director but I’m squeamish. How much blood and guts do you have to deal with? I know part of the schooling is learning to embalm. I can handle blood perfectly fine but the guts part might be an issue.
