Using the tagline, “Don’t be caught dead without one” artist Mark Allen is bringing custom body bags to the masses. That’s right, the idea is that you carry this around with you, after all, you never know when you will go, and know one wants to go in one of those ugly blue body bags like we see on Law and Order.
Artist, Mark Allen, has been arrested, applauded, and deplored for his glamorization of death and pretending to be a corpse in public places. Not only has he designed a line of fashionable bodybags for the deceased, but he has also taken this artistic endeavor to the streets: performing publicly in Miami, Los Angeles, Kansas City, and New York (usually drawing a crowd that is later broken up by police).
Mark Allen Bodybags seek to provide an alternative to an untimely death. Instead of being carried away in a cheap plastic sack, you instead can be carried away in style, making your last fashion statement to the public. For those priveledged enough to own such a luxury: “Don’t be caught dead without one!”
