Passare has announced the launch of AI Suggestions, a new feature added to its AI Assistant. AI Suggestions assists funeral directors with case updates by analyzing details captured by AI Notetaker during arrangement conferences. The tool presents automatic updates that funeral professionals can apply with a single click,allowing them to transition more quickly from initial conversations to completed tasks.
“Funeral directors take a lot of notes during arrangement conferences, and some of those notes are to themselves to update the case,” said Josh McQueen, Vice President of Marketing & Product at Passare. “Rather than funeral professionals combing through notes or transcripts to remember what to update and then retyping information, AI Suggestions does the work and gives funeral directors full control over what gets added while eliminating the busywork.”
How AI Suggestions Works in Passare Mobile
Operating alongside AI Notetaker within Passare Mobile, AI Suggestions reviews meeting transcripts from recorded arrangement conferences and generates recommended updates. Funeral directors can inspect all proposed changes in a single view to approve or dismiss each recommendation. Once approved, the data automatically fills the relevant fields within the case file.
Accuracy Features and Case Field Integration
To support data accuracy, each recommendation includes a confidence score, an explanation for the suggestion, and the corresponding transcript snippet. For instance, if a family mentions the decedent’s birthplace, the feature identifies that detail and updates the Birth Address City field on the Vitals page. Beyond basic information, AI Suggestions can create checklist tasks and update Funeral Options fields for service and visitation dates and times.
