Aurora Casket Company, the largest privately-owned supplier in funeral service, has once again received top marks for Service in the annual Casket Survey conducted by the Funeral Service Insider. Aurora also won this recognition in both 2011 and 2012.

“We continue to focus on new ways to serve our customers. Leaders from every area of our business meet every week to implement strategies that make Aurora easier to do business with. It truly touches every corner of our business- from order entry and delivery to consistent product availability, quality and accurate billing,” said Bill Hudson, Vice President of Sales at Aurora.

Aurora operates five manufacturing facilities in the United States and Canada with more than 60 distribution centers located throughout the country, serving thousands of funeral homes.

“To be ranked number one in service speaks volumes for our entire team, from sales and customer service, to manufacturing and logistics. Everyone at Aurora is focused on our customers,” Hudson added.

Gathered from more than 100 subscribers to the newsletter, Funeral Service Insider’s annual casket survey covers topics such as consumer expectations and attitudes, cremation, and supplier rankings. Kate-Boylston also publishes American Funeral Director, American Cemetery andFuneral Service Extra, all dedicated to providing the latest industry news to funeral and cemetery professionals.
