Successful ICCFA University 2024 Highlights Commitment to Advancing Deathcare Profession
Sterling, VA (September 5, 2024)—The International Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Association (ICCFA) is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of ICCFA University 2024, held from July 19-24 at Emory University in Atlanta. This year’s event united 179 students from across the globe, including 91 recipients of registration scholarships awarded by the ICCFA Educational Foundation. The event allowed attendees to learn from top leaders in deathcare and connect with peers, fostering a strong professional network.
Training Across Nine Specialized Colleges
ICCFA University 2024 offered intensive training across nine specialized colleges, each led by esteemed experts. Participants explored innovative offerings and earned certifications in various specialties. They enhanced their skills in funeral celebrancy, cremation services, hospitality, land management, leadership, technology, sales and marketing, funeral home management, and executive education. This comprehensive program provided valuable insights and practical strategies to serve families better and drive success in the deathcare profession.
Scholarships Empowering Future Leaders
A highlight of this year’s event was the ICCFA Educational Foundation’s awarding of 91 scholarships to professionals from 26 states and several countries, including Brazil, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Jamaica. These scholarships enabled recipients to attend ICCFA University and learn from industry innovators and experts. This initiative underscores the foundation’s commitment to developing future leaders in the field and positively impacting their communities.
